We appear to have a leader for Emoni Bates, as just a few days after he trimmed his list to six schools, recruiting insider Travis Branham has put in a crystal ball prediction for... Louisville.
There is no timetable for Bates' commitment, but after entering the portal close to a month ago, you'd think his recruitment would be starting to come to an end.
The 6'9 forward is a polarizing prospect, but at just 18-years-old, still has a lot of upside. He averaged 9.7 points per game last season at Memphis, after deciding to reclassify and play college hoops last year.
Bates' other finalists include Michigan, Arkansas, DePaul, Seton Hall and Eastern Michigan
