Alabama gets crushing portal news, as late Thursday night guard Rylan Griffen announced he will enter the transfer portal.
Griffen was one of the emerging stars of the Tide's Final Four run this year, averaging 11.2 points, including three straight games of double figures in the NCAA Tournament. That included a 19-point performance in a Sweet 16 win over North Caroina.
Assuming he stays in the portal, Griffen will be a coveted guard and should be pursued especially hard by schools in his home state of Texas.
He has two years of eligibility remaining.
