A former McDonald's All-American is headed to Alabama, as former Auburn guard Aden Holloway has committed to the Crimson Tide. The news was first reported by On3's Joe Tipton.
The move from one rival to another is certainly an intriguing twist, but the Tide have also undoubtedly added a high-upside player just scratching the surface of his potential. The 6'1 Holloway is lightning averaging 7.3 points and 2.7 assists in just 20 minutes of game action this year. At the same time, he also needs to greatly improve his shooting, after hitting just 29 percent from beyond the three-point arc this season.
Holloway becomes the third big-name guard to commit to the Crimson Tide this off-season, joining Chris Youngblood (South Florida) and Houston Mallette (Pepperdine).
