Nelly Cummings, the leading scorer on Colgate's back-to-back NCAA Tournament teams has decided to enter the transfer portal, in news first reported by ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
This season, Cummings averaged 14.7 points and 3.4 assists, while shooting 36 percent from behind the three-point arc. That included a 20-point performance in a loss to Wisconsin in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. In the process he earned All-Patriot League first team honors this year, after earning second team honors in 2021.
As a grad transfer, he will be immediately eligible with one season remaining.
