Are two schools separating for a talented mid-major player - it appears it might be that way.

That's because on Wednesday, 247 Sports' Dushawn London reported that former Dayton guard Malachi Smith plans to get on Zooms with both UConn and Georgia.

A 6'0 guard, Smith averaged 10 points per game this season on 38 percent three-point shooting.

He is a fourth-year player with one season of eligibility remaining.
