East Carolina star Tristen Newton has a loaded list of suitors reaching out

East Carolina star Tristen Newton entered the portal a few days ago, and has already heard from some of the biggest programs in college basketball.

According to Stock Riser's Jake Weingarten, the following schools have reached out to Newton: UConn, USC, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Houston, Florida, Arkansas, Ohio State, Memphis, Clemson, UCF, Creighton, Stanford, UNLV, St. John’s, Wichita State.

Newton is a big guard who had a fantastic 2021-2022 season for the Pirates, averaging 17.7 points per game, to go along with 4.8 rebounds and five assists.

He has two years of eligibility remaining.
