The ACC got tougher on Monday, as explosive scoring guard Marcus Hammond announced that he would continue his college basketball career at Notre Dame.
Hammond spent the last four years at Niagra, where he averaged double-figures his final three seasons, including 18.1 points per game this past year. He also shot over 37 percent from three-point land.
He adds some scoring pop to a Notre Dame backcourt that lost guards Prentiss Hubb to graduation and Blake Wesley to the NBA Draft.
