For the second year in a row, Both Gach will enter the transfer portal

A year ago, Both Gach was one of the most coveted players in the transfer portal, electing to leave Utah for Minnesota. Well after just one year, Gach is on the move again.

As first reported by the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Gach has alerted new Minnesota head coach Ben Johnson that he will enter the portal. It comes after he averaged 6.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 29 games last season, which included 16 starts. Unfortunately he was also plagued by injuries, a season which culminated in surgery on his foot for Gach. He did average nearly 11 points per game during the 2019-2020 season at Utah.

Gach's departure continues a busy off-season of overhaul at Minnesota. In total, there is now just one player left on the team from last season. In their place, five transfers have been signed: William & Mary's Luke Loewe, Lafayette's E.J. Stephens, New Hampshire's Sean Sutherlin, Charleston's Payton Willis and George Washington's Jamison Battle, with several more scholarships available.
