Dontaie Allen may have only seen limited minutes of action at Kentucky, but that hasn't stopped some of the biggest names in college hoops from reaching out once he hit the transfer portal.
Per KSR's Jack Pilgirm, Allen has heard from the following schools since entering the portal: Louisville, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Virginia, Cincinnati, Xavier, Northern Kentucky and Western Kentucky.
Allen is a former "Mr. Basketball" in the state of Kentucky who averaged 43 points per game as a senior, but only saw limited action in three seasons in Lexington (one was a redshirt). Allen's best season actually came during the 2020-2021 Covid season, where he had several big games, including a 23-point effort against Mississippi State in an NCAA Tournament loss.
