Former Marquette guard Symir Torrence will play at an ACC school next year

Symir Torrence, a 6'3 guard who played the last two years at Marquette has found a new college home: He announced on Twitter that he will be transferring to Syracuse.

The news isn't surprising as Torrence is a Syracuse native, who played AAU ball with Syracuse stars Buddy Boeheim and Joe Girard.

He should help replace the production of guard Kadary Richmond who announced on Tuesday that he'd be transferring.
