NC State guard Cam Hayes entered the transfer portal last week, and has already heard from some big-name programs.
According to Stock Riser's Jake Weingarten, among the schools to reach out to Hayes include Arizona State, Cincinnati, Tennessee, SMU, Loyola Chicago, Minnesota, Wichita State, Marquette, Creighton, Georgia, Texas Tech, BYU and San Francisco.
Hayes enrolled early as a freshman during the 2020-2021 season, averaging 7.8 points and 3.1 assists per game, all while shooting 39 percent from behind the arc. However his numbers dipped this season, averaging just seven points and 2.1 assists per game.
He'll have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
