Former Top 50 forward Gerald Liddell makes his transfer choice

Gerald Liddell, a former Top 50 recruit in the class of 2018 who spent two seasons at Texas has decided where he will continue his career. Per Stadium's Jeff Goodman, he will play for former NBA All-Star Mo Williams, who is now the head coach at Alabama State. Liddell chose the Longhorns over the likes of UCLA, Arizona and other power conference schools, but never could make things work in Austin, averaging just 4.4 points last season and 2.1 points in seven games during the 2020-2021 year before electing to transfer.

He'll instantly add offensive scoring power to Williams' Alabama State squad, which went 4-14 in the SWAC this season.
