DJ Jeffries, a once coveted Top 50 prospect who played the last two seasons at Memphis has found a new college home - the 6'7 forward has committed to Mississippi State.
Jeffries broke out as a freshman two seasons ago at Memphis, averaging 10.3 points per game - before an injury shortened his season. From there, he got off to a slow start in 2021 but still managed to average 9.9 points per game.
He is the second big pick-up for the Bulldogs in the portal in the last week, following the commitment of North Carolina forward Garrison Brooks a few days ago.
