Four different Penn State players enter the transfer portal

Just a day after Penn State announced Micah Shrewsberry as its new head coach, the Nittany Lions saw several players - including a few starters enter the transfer portal. The news was first reported by ESPN's Jeff Borzello, and to be clear, the players can always return to school, but for now, are at least exploring their options. The players include:

* Leading scorer Myreon Jones, a 6'3 combo guard who averaged 15.3 points per game this season as a junior, on nearly 40 percent shooting from three.

* Second-leading scorer Izaiah Brockington, a 6'4 guard who averaged 12.6 points per game

* John Harrar, a 6'9 senior, who led the team in rebounding at 8.8 boards per game, to go along with 8.8 rebounds

* Trent Buttrick, a senior forward who averaged three points and three rebounds per game a season ago.
