Florida has made its first major move in the transfer portal, as on Saturday, it picked up a commitment from former Belmont guard Will Richard. Richard announced the commitment via his social media pages.
Richard is a high-upside 6'5 wing, who averaged 12.1 points per game as a freshman this past season at Belmont. In the process, he was named to the All-OVC Freshman Team.
He becomes the first major transfer commitment of new coach Todd Golden's tenure in Gainesville.
