Jayden Quaintance is in the portal, in news first reported by Jonathan Givony - and instantly becomes the best player available.
The 6'10 forward played this entire season at Arizona State as a 17-year-old freshman, and youngest player in all of college basketball. He averaged 9 points, eight rebounds and three blocks per game as the youngest player in college basketball, earning All-Big 12 Freshman Team honors.
Because Quaintance won't turn 18 until July, he is not yet eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft and will do another year of college basketball.
He originally committed to John Calipari at Kentucky, before re-opening his recruitment after Calipari left for Arkansas.
