It was another successful year at Villanova where the Wildcats won a Big East title - but even the best teams deal with transfer news. That was the case on Wednesday, when key reserve Cole Swider decided to hit the transfer portal.
Swider is a 6'9 wing who has been a key contributor off the bench for the Wildcats the last three seasons, including this year where he averaged 5.7 points per game on over 40 percent three-point shooting.
Despite the less than spectacular numbers, expect him to be a player that many programs across college basketball have interest in. He is a former Top 50 recruit nationally in the high school class of 2018.
