Shareef O'Neal, the famed son of Shaquille O'Neal, has decided to leave LSU and enter the transfer portal. The news was first reported by Verbal Commits.
O'Neal was a decorated high school player in California, but has had an up-and-down career in college, in part because of heart surgery which limited him for an entire season. He has spent the last two years at his father's alma mater LSU however, where he appeared in 14 games and averaged just 2.5 points per game this season.
Still, as a 6'10 stretch four, he should receive plenty of interest from programs in the power five.
