Mark Pope has made yet another portal splash, as former Florida guard Denzel Aberdeen is headed to Lexington.
Aberdeen was the sixth man on the Gators title team, averaging 7.7 points off bench, shooting 35 percent from the three-point line. He was due to move into the starting lineup next year for Florida before hitting the portal this weekend.
A 6'5 guard, Aberdeen will have one year of eligibility remaining.
