Marcus Williams had a stellar freshman season at Wyoming. So much so that he was named the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year. But, he may be on the move as he entered the transfer portal.
The Dickinson, Texas native was a three-star recruit out of high school and averaged 14.9 points and 4.3 assists in 24 games for the Cowboys. He started 23 times and tallied a career-high 30 points against Denver on December 9, 2020. Williams played the second-most minutes for the Cowboys, reaching double figures in points 19 times, and will have a plethora of suitors for his services in 2021-2022. He will have four years of eligibility remaining.
