One of the best shooters in the portal Rudi Williams is down to just eight schools

Rudi Williams, one of the best shooters in all of college basketball this season, is down to just eight schools.

Williams announced on Sunday that he will choose from UConn, Cal, San Diego State, Butler, BYU, George Mason, Wichita State, and Xavier.

The 6'2 guard is well-traveled, beginning his career in the junior college ranks and playing one season at Kansas State, before ending up at Coastal Carolina last year. There he blossomed into a legitimate star, averaging 14.7 points, while shooting 44.7 percent from three. He would add immediate scoring pop to any of the final schools on his list.
