Porter Moser Rebuilding Oklahoma Roster; Adds Duke Transfer

The Sooners roster under Porter Moser has undergone some changes. Today, Moser solidified the backcourt bringing in Duke transfer Jordan Goldwire.

Goldwire played four years at Duke and will be taking advantage of the extra year the NCAA has granted this school year’s student-athletes. Goldwire started 11 games and played in all 24 of the Blue Devils contests this past season. He averaged career-highs in points (5.8), assists (4.0), rebounds (2.9), and steals (2.25). An All-ACC Defensive Team selection this past season, Goldwire brings experience to Oklahoma. He has played in 116 career games to date.

Goldwire, along with the addition of the Groves brothers from Eastern Washington yesterday, help alleviate the loss of big-man Brady Manek to North Carolina and guards Austin Reaves to the NBA Draft and De’Vion Harmon to the transfer portal.
