Rick Pitino adds another transfer recruit as his first St. John's roster is filling up - as former Iona wing Quinn Slazinski committed to the Red Storm.
Slazinski was one of the stars of Pitino's final Gaels' squad averaging 11 points per game in limited playing time because of injury. He also averaged 5.7 rebounds per game as well.
Slazinski, who began his career at Louisville becomes the fifth commit at St. John's for Pitino, joining former Iona teammates Daniss Jenkins and Cruz Davis, former UConn guard Nahiem Alleyne and former VMI guard Sean Conway.
