After losing Sharife Cooper to the pros and Justin Powell to the transfer portal, Auburn needed some reinforcements and got one in a big way on Friday, as Eastern Kentucky star freshman guard Wendell Green selected Bruce Pearl's program.
Green played just one season for the Colonels, but averaged 15.8 points and five assists per game and was named All-OVC first team. He should add immediate ball-handling and scoring pop to the Tigers' backcourt.
