Syracuse's Kadary Richmond enters the portal - and immediately becomes name to monitor

On Tuesday we got more big transfer news, as Syracuse wing Kadary Richmond entered the transfer portal, in news first reported by Verbal Commits. While the 6'5 Richmond's stats won't blow you away, they are deceptive. He averaged just 6.3 points, but did so in only 21 minutes of play as a freshman with the Orange last season and also ranked fourth in the ACC in steals per game with 1.4 per contest.

Put simply, Richmond is a player believed to have long-term NBA upside as a combo guard, and stuck behind Joe Girard, is looking for a place where he can get more playing time in 2021-2022. He will have no shortage of suitors in the college ranks next season.
