Three of Division II's top scorers entered the transfer portal on Tuesday

It has become increasingly popular for DII stars to transfer up to the DI level, and we may get another wave this off-season. As Verbal Commits reported, three of Division II's top five scorers all hit the portal Tuesday. They were John Williams who averaged 27.8 points per game at Glenville State (Division II's leading scorer), Alphonso Willis of Young Harris (26.4 points per game) and Cam Martin (Missouri Southern) who were the fourth and fifth leading scorers in DII respectively. Williams is a junior, while Willis and Martin are both seniors with one year of eligibility remaining.
