Following Kevin Willard's departure, two Maryland stars have decided to enter the portal.

On Monday, guards Rodney Rice and Ja'Kobi Gillespie have both announced they were leaving.

Gillespie, a transfer from Belmont this off-season was a star for the Terps, averaging 14.7 points per game and 4.8 assists, while also shooting nearly 41 percent from three. Rice meanwhile, averaged just under 14 points on 37 percent shooting after transferring from Virginia Tech.

Gillespie will have one year of eligibility remaining, while Rice will have two.

There's no word yet if they plan to follow Willard to Villanova after the head coach departed College Park.
