Fardaws Aimaq, a 6'11 forward who won WAC Player of the Year this past season, entered the transfer portal on Friday night and has already heard from some of the biggest names in college hoops.

According to StockRisers Jake Weingarten, Aimaq has heard from the following schools: Kentucky, Gonzaga, West Virginia, Texas, Texas Tech, Florida, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Wazzu, Miami, Marquette, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech.

Aimaq averaged 18.9 points and 13.6 rebounds this season, was 2nd in the NCAA in double-doubles behind Oscar Tshiebwe.

He is a grad transfer, and because of the Covid waiver, has two years of eligibility remaining. Travis Branham from 247 Sports also says that Aimaq will consider his professional options as well.
