Xavier guard Dwon Odom has found a new college home

Dwon Odom, a key piece for a Xavier Musketeers team that spent most of the season in the Top 25, and ended up winning the NIT has found a new home - he announced Thursday he will play at Georgia State.

Ultimately this news isn't surprising as Georgia State recently hired former Xavier assistant coach Jonas Hayes, the man that led the Musketeers to the NIT title. Hayes was also the lead recruiter for Odom out of high school, where he grew up in Georgia.

It's a return home for Odom, who averaged 6.2 points per game with two assists and two rebounds at Xavier last season.
